I dont know anyone who just has a flat fee phone either on Billpay of PAYG everyone has bundles so no hidden costs. If you travel it is still a cost on top of your standard agreement unless your with “3 mobile” which covers calls texts & data if your on a 3 network in another country when it becomes just like the rest. When people roam they should just buy a local sim & stop moaning. Roaming costs are an expense to the network, why should kids & OAP’s that never travel subsidise business users & wealthy individuals that can afford to travel to other countries. Users that live next to land bordered countries should just buy a duel sim phone they dont cost anymore in gact most cost a lot less or just switch off roaming & use wifi
